The generation entering adulthood now faces novel, sometimes debilitating, challenges. Experts offer tools to navigate a “quarterlife crisis.”

Depop, a social shopping app, was a springboard for many young designers during the pandemic. Some are now taking their success elsewhere.

And among those who moved out of their childhood bedroom, a third are spending about half of their monthly income on rent or mortgage.

We’ve been “productive” enough — produced way too much, in fact. And there is too much that urgently needs to be done.

Without much confidence that the olds will have fixes on guns, climate or Covid, young Americans are looking to themselves.
