Bryant, the widow of the basketball star Kobe Bryant, sued Los Angeles County after some of its employees shared graphic photos of the crash that killed her husband and one of their daughters.
Ms. Bryant had sued Los Angeles County over the sharing of photos of human remains from the helicopter crash that killed her husband Kobe Bryant, her daughter and seven others. Another plaintiff was awarded $15 million.
Bryant, whose husband and daughter died in a 2020 helicopter crash, said county employees shared photos of human remains from the crash, causing her emotional distress.
