The Israeli Army has concluded that Shireen Abu Akleh, a Palestinian-American broadcaster, was probably killed by one of its own soldiers — but stopped short of accepting definitive blame.
The State Department said Shireen Abu Akleh, the Al Jazeera broadcaster killed in the West Bank in May, was likely hit by shots fired from Israeli military positions.
